The Role of Women in Gambling
It is said that gambling world comprised only of men, for they are much stronger, and mentally apt to cope at almost anything to beat someone's sorry ass on the game table.
But that was long before women are permitted to play in casinos to try their luck on gambling. Although for the most part, men take up the greater whole in this respect. Women are part of it, too. Not as plenty, but there just are.
What motivated these women to engage themselves in such? They may appear dainty and quaint, but remember that the mental agility and brilliance in beating an opponent in any gambling games is always the striking factor to win - regardless of gender.
So, does it ever entail that women are smarter than the opposite sex? Not entirely so. It was just pointed out that an individual IS an individual therefore has the ability to choose freely whatever he or she wants to do. In order to develop this individual's skills in gambling, he or she boldly faces all the challenges he encounters.
This is the kind of pursuit that is surely being debated and contemplated upon. Influences, motivation, and its possible outcome are part of gambling, and the woman possesses all these.
The gumption to spend a little to gain back what was expected is no virtue, but practicality. It is no surprise that some women - especially married ones, are practical enough to even consider gambling a part of their daily routine.
However, it should not be ruled out that the prime motive of these women into gambling means only one thin - to win, of course. Some do it for the hope of adding a few bills (and surprisingly, it could be a thousand!) in their monthly budget at home (nothing wrong with that), and some gamble out of sheer boredom.
Reasons vary, but since women take responsibility all too seriously, the main concern for their families' welfare always ranks first.
This does not imply that men are the weaker sex in gambling; it's just that women are more in touch with what they want, and patient enough to get what they want.
Men tend to be more cunning and aggressive, thinking of the prize alone. There's a shade difference right there, Whatever the reason may be, gambling is still alive, and being sought out by the practical ones, and those who are smart enough to quit when they feel like they are already slipping from reality into a very deep pit of disappointment that lasts a lifetime.
